All About Stafford Oktoberfest

Stafford Oktoberfest started in 1990. The festival is always the first Saturday in October. Oktoberfest as been the long standing tradition for the community to use as more than celebration of homecoming. The alumni hold their annual banquet and the community members roam around the downtown area seeing old friends and family they haven't seen in years. The festival is put on by a group of 10 volunteers that work tirelessly to bring the best festival that is possible. A lot of blood, sweat, and tears are poured in to the annual event. Nothing is sweeter than watching the smiles on attendees faces as the event unfolds. The Stafford Oktoberfest was recently named the Best Event in the Tri-County (Stafford, Pratt and Kiowa) Area.
